Heh, the Trails of Cold Steel PC release has a bunch of added voice lines in it, even more than the Japanese version. So if you just use the Japanese voice patch without deleting the existing voices, you get some scenes where everyone talks in Japanese while the MC responds to them in English (the MC is just unvoiced there in the Japanese/English PS3 versions). Good times.

The game version is kinda like a concert section that just has the part where they're singing. There's an intro and outro to the song on the album version.

Why do we allow OST versions in general instead of just gamerips? The sound is slightly different when played off of a CD as opposed to through a console's sound chip.

Incidentally, who're everyone's favorite Rare Blades personality wise? I really liked Sheba, Vale, and especially Zenobia. Zenobia's just a pure joy. There's no drama or anything, it's just 100% fun all the time with her. Would've been highly entertaining to see her interact with the game's villains (not least because she'd probably annihilate them with a single blow).

Wolf's Rain is a pretty good show, though it has some issues. Episodes 15-18 are all recap episodes, so you should safely skip those.

Not all of them! I think Journey to the West is supposed to be pretty low tier. But yeah, they mostly get better over time AFAIK.

I mostly liked this event a lot, but once I got close to the end I wasn't quite as into it. I think part of that is that it's so much longer than any other event: 2 weeks with all the quests being 20AP. If you use all your AP on it that means it's twice as much playing as an event where the best quests are 40AP. This was definitely a good thing at first (I loved being able to do so many quests in a day and just keep playing without running out of AP), but it became a little bit of a slog for me in the latter days. Still probably my favorite event overall. Quest variety was nice too.

Slippery slopes are great in every way. I mean, it's the dumb strict early rules that got the full Dancing Mad in the contest every year, before cooler heads prevailed and gave us the no looping version.

I feel like my lack of fondness for 9S is a big reason Nier Automata didn't quite make it as one of my favorite games. I still liked it a lot, and I can appreciate what they did with 9S in Route C, but I was always disappointed when the game made me play as 9S instead of A2 in Route C, especially since she's so much more fun to play as and could've used more development of her own.

I like XIII as well. Was disappointed and it has a lot of problems, but it has a lot of great stuff too. 8/10 game.

Herc is fantastic. Shiki is excellent. Nursery Rhyme is quite good. Stheno sucks. So your band of 4*s is pretty solid I think.

Evil Servants
7th Floor rooms 10 times
8th Floor rooms 10 times

Is there a good way to do a couple of these at once? I know 803 has a divine servant.

703 and 803 are both good because they have Black Cat drops. How many Evil do you have? Did you clear out ice cream and water drops?

Pretty good game. Starts off really slow, but gets to be pretty fun after a while. Has a nice complete feel to it.

The reason codecs in the MGS games aren't as bad is that you can actually skip through them. Just read the line and press x to go to the next line if you don't feel like waiting for the whole voice clip. Taking away the ability to do this is one of the big flaws of modern cinematic games.

The gameplay downgrade due to losing all your party members and items from the end of FC is also extremely noticeable here.

Does Cold Steel fix this? Azure also suffers from this issue. 3rd's the only one that actually handles it fairly well.

Best final boss is tough. Maybe Bayonetta 1? I dunno if I'd put any RPG final bosses up there... Skyward Sword's final boss was super cool too, though that was more for atmosphere than anything. The atmosphere was freaking amazing though.

88 missions cleared now. Working on the Arjuna (think thats the name) Archer stage for some Male Servant and Divine Servant progress

the Vlad stage (501) should probably be a higher priority depending on what you have completed, since it does Male/Berserker/Evil. Then the Medusa stage is good for Divine/Rider, or you can split those between 703 and 803 if you need Cats.
